March 2024 News Release
On 03/02/2024, at approximately 1429 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to 8555 NW Mill Creek Road, Cameron, for a report of a natural cover fire with property damage.
On 03/03/2024, at approximately 1814 hours, Dispatch received a call reference to a domestic assault. The victim responded to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department to make a statement. After further investigation, a suspect was named and charges are being sought against the suspect. The investigation continues.
On 03/03/2024, at approximately 1950 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatch to 1775 Eagle Creek Dr. (Hideaway Lakes) in reference to a disturbance.
On 03/04/2024, at approximately 0327 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to 8861 Green Cove Dr. Polo, Hideaway lakes, Mo in reference to a structure fire.
On 3/04/2024, at approximately 0920 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to Burglary and Stealing from 1640 Cimmaron Dr. Polo, Hideaway Lakes, Mo.
On 3/04/2024, at approximately 1428 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call by phone in reference to a stolen custom made tow dolly at 8351 NE State Route M Breckenridge, MO. The car dolly was found in an adjoining county and a suspect is being sought for questioning.
On 03/05/2024, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the address of 1775 Eagle Creek Dr. Polo, Missouri, for an assault in progress.
On 03/05/2024, Caldwell County Deputies Responded to Hideaway Lakes, Polo, in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, Officers observed a fugitive from justice who gave way to a foot pursuit. After the Caldwell County K-9 Unit was deployed, K9 Axel was able to track the fugitive to the area of SE Whitetail Rd and V Hwy where he was later taken into custody.
On 03/07/2024, at approximately 2157 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Stoutmore St. Polo, Missouri, in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.
On 3/08/2024, at approximately 0817 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to a disturbance located in the 500 block of W. Center Rd. Polo, MO.
On 03/08/2024, at approximately 1913 hours, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Chrysler PT Cruise on Highway 13 near Price Dr. in Polo, for lane violations. Result of the stop, a W/F was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
On 03/08/2024, at approximately 2333 hours, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevy Impala on State Highway B near Price Dr. near Cowgill. The result of the stop a W/F was arrested for DWI and driving without a license.
On 03/11/2024, at approximately 0047 hours, while on patrol, Deputies observed a 2000 black Honda Accord to be parked facing north with the driver side of the vehicle part way in the roadway, on State Route A near State Route O in Braymer. The vehicle was determined to be abandoned and was towed from the location.
On 03/11/2024, approximately 1843 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to the 80 block of Grant St., Kingston, in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.
On 03/11/2024, at approximately 1851 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to 6150 SE Glassville Drive, in reference to Tampering with a vehicle.
On 03/12/2024, at 1157 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to 1629 Cimmaron Drive, Hideaway Lakes, for a report of a Burglary.
On 3/12/2024, at approximately 2000 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to an address in Braymer, in reference to a suicidal party. The person was determined to not be suicidal but did have an outstanding warrant for their arrest from Carroll County. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 3/13/2024, at approximately 1147 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call regarding educational neglect of a child due to their lack of attendance at a school. The parent was contacted and this incident is being closely monitored.
On 3/14/2024, at approximately 0850 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call of a dog bite at in the 100 block of Main St Polo, Mo.
On 3/14/2024, at approximately 0915 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to a structure fire near the intersection of Old Highway 36 and Manson Rd., Kidder, Mo.
On 03/14/2024, at approximately 1951 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to an address in the 100 block of Front St., Kidder, for a domestic disturbance. Result of the call was a w/f taken into custody on a Clay County warrant.
On 03/15/2024, at approximately 1804 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of SW Duroc Dr., Cameron, in reference to a well-being check. All parties involved were safe.
On 03/19/2024, the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department opened an investigation in reference to Child Endangerment. The investigation is ongoing.

On 03/20/2024, at approximately 0649 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to 82 East Grant Kingston, for a report of a domestic disturbance not in progress. The incident resulted in the arrest of a male suspect for Driving While Intoxicated /Drugs. They were placed into the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 03/20/2024, at approximately 1636 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 100 block of West Elm Street, Polo, for a report of recovered property. The property recovered was identified as methamphetamine and paraphernalia. No arrest were made.
On 03/23/2024, at approximately 1618 hours, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Highway13 south of Hamilton on a gold Chevy Impala for an equipment violation. As a result of the stop, a male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
On 03/23/2024, at approximately 2324 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the area of State Route B near Soo Line Rd., Cowgill, for an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
On 03/23/2024, at approximately 2341 hours, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a motorist assist on Highway 116 near Highway 13 in Polo. The result of the motorist assist, a W/M was taken into custody for warrants out of Clay County.
On 03/25/2024, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to 1445 Eagle Creek Dr., Polo, in reference to a Domestic Assault. As a result of the investigation, a male was arrested on multiple Ray county warrants and was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center to await extradition.
On 3/26/2024, at approximately 1341 hours, Deputies received a report of Stealing, Property Damage, and Trespassing from a residence located at 7365 SE Frog Pond Rd., Cowgill. This incident is being investigated and suspects are being sought for questioning.
On 03/26/2024, at approximately 1606 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 300 block of West 7th Street, Braymer, for a report of theft. The incident concluded with the arrest of a male party for an active warrant.
On 03/26/2024, at approximately 2301 hours, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Honda Civic on Highway 116 near Brangus Rd. for a lane violation. The result of the traffic stop was a W/M arrested for DWI drugs.
On 03/28/2024, at approximately 1133 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to Supervision Services, Hamilton, in reference to a white female with Daviess County warrants. She was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 03/28/2024, at approximately 1228 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to a stolen gun from the 10000 block of SW. Price Dr. Lathrop, MO. The gun was later located and had been misplaced.
On 03/28/2024, at approximately 1248 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to 167 South Washington Street, Kingston, in reference to an unresponsive person. After further investigation, no foul play was found. The subject was found to have passed due to natural causes.
On 03/28/2024, at approximately 1952 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to an address in Braymer, Missouri for a suicidal person. The victim was transported by personal vehicle to a hospital for treatment.
On 03/28/2024, at approximately 2156 hours, Caldwell County Deputies served an arrest warrant at the address of 302 Main St., Polo. The result was a W/M was taken into custody on a Clay County warrant.
On 3/29/2024, at approximately 1859 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to 210 N. 11th St., Breckenridge, in reference to a Domestic Assault. This incident is being investigated.
On 3/30/2024, at approximately 2359 Hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of South Fourth St., Breckenridge, in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. No arrests were made at the request of the victim. The information was forwarded to Supervision Services regarding the suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
