OCTOBER NEWS RELEASE 

 

On 10/01/2024, the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department opened an investigation in reference to Careless and Imprudent Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Felony Property Damage and Tampering with Physical Evidence in a Felony Prosecution which took place on NE Panther Rd., south of W Broadway, Breckenridge.
 
On 10/01/2024 at approximately 1802 hours Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 4000 block of NE State Route U Hamilton for a domestic disturbance. The parties separated for the evening and no arrest were made.
 
On 10/03/2024 at approximately 0930 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the Caldwell County Court House to serve an active warrant which resulted in the arrest of a 46 year old male from Platte City Missouri.
 
On 10/03/2024 at approximately 0507 hours, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Missouri Highway 116 near Polo. The person operating the vehicle had a revoked driver's license.
 
On 10/03/2024 at approximately 2231 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the10000 block of SE Hwy 116 Braymer in reference to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later found and returned home. The report will be forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile officer.
 
On 10/4/2024 at approximately 1512 hours, Caldwell County Deputies served a parole warrant in the 7000 block of Morgan St Hamilton, The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
 
On 10/04/2024 at approximately 1757 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the Cameron Police Department to meet a Clinton County Deputy for the transfer of a person with a Caldwell County warrant for their arrest. The person was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
 
On 10/04/2024 at approximately 2151 hours, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Missouri Highway 116 and Missouri State Highway B which resulted in a warrant arrest. The driver had an outstanding warrant for their arrest from Clay County. They were transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
 
On 10/6/2024 at approximately 1638 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to stealing at 1304 Fawn Park Dr. Polo, Mo (Hideaway Lakes).The reported theft was reporting someone stealing wiring from a camper,
 
On 10/08/24 at approximately 1051 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a report of Property Damage and Assault .The incident occurred in the 4000 block of NE State Route B Hamilton, Mo. The suspect was a juvenile. The report was forwarded to the 43rd Judicial Juvenile Office for prosecution.
 
On 10/9/2024 at approximately 1423 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to a spilled load of asphalt at the intersection of HWY 116 and HWY 13 in Polo, Mo. The driver of the privately owned Dump truck was located and returned to the scene at the Deputies request to clean up the debris left in the roadway. MODOT workers assisted in the cleanup.
 
On 10/09/2024 at approximately 1748 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a report of identity theft to person in the 5000 block of NW Thiel Dr. Kidder.
 
On 10/10/2024 at approximately 1254 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to a combine that had caught fire along with a corn field near the intersection of State Route A and State Route O in Braymer, Mo. Shoal Creek Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. The combine and corn field were a total loss as a result of the fire.  No injuries were reported.
 
On 10/13/2024 Deputies responded to an address in Braymer for a missing 11 year old juvenile male, the juvenile was located a short time later on the property,
 
On 10/15/2024 at approximately 1921 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to an address in the 13000 block of NE Burlington Dr. Breckenridge for a trespassing issue, As a result of the call, a male was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from Clinton County for the charge of DWI.
 
On 10/16/2024 at approximately 1801 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 1100 block of Diamond Ridge Drive, Polo in reference to property damage.
 
On 10/17/2024 at approximately 2003 hours, Caldwell County Deputies began an investigation regarding a sexual assault from an address in Breckenridge Mo.
 
On 10/18/2024 at approximately 1540 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to theft from a motor vehicle in 300 block of Elm Street in Polo. It was reported an unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and removed some items.
 
On 10/18/2024 at approximately 2104 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the area of the 600 block of Broadway St.in Breckenridge for a structure fire. Shoal Creek Fire District responded and extinguished the fire,
 
On 10/19/2024 at approximately 1849 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 300 block of Shouse Ave. Braymer for a domestic disturbance with reported shots fired. As a result of the investigation a male was taken into custody for Assault, Armed criminal action and Unlawful use of a weapon. There were no reported injuries to the victim.
 
On 10/22/2024 at approximately 0435 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 13000 block of NE Burlington Rd, for a domestic disturbance .As a result of the investigation, a 30 year old male was arrested for Domestic assault and placed into the Caldwell County Detention Center.
 
On 10/22/2024 at approximately 1432 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a report of passing a Bad Check for the purchase of a vehicle at a local car dealership.
 
On 10/22/2024 at approximately 2323 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 400 block of Richey Ave, Braymer in reference to property damage and trespassing.
 
On 10/26/2024 at approximately 1825 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 400 block of Milwaukee St, Polo in reference to Property Damage.
 
On 10/27/2024 at approximately 2005 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 200 block of Maple St Breckenridge, in reference to a suicidal person. The person was transported to a mental health facility by EMS.
 
On 10/28/2024 at approximately 1406 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to a stolen vehicle belonging to the Union Pacific Railroad. The truck was later found abandoned on Price drive in a field. A suspect has been identified.
 
On 10/28/2024 at approximately 1434 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were advised a male was in the lobby of the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office to turn himself in on a warrant. The suspect was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center where he posted the allowed bond for the Charge of Assault and was released pending a court appearance.
 
On 10/29/2024 at approximately 0945 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a report in reference to the theft of large bales of hay on D blacktop near Ana drive.
 
On 10/29/2024 at approximately 1059 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 400 block of Main St Cowgill, Mo in reference to a warrant arrest. The suspect was taken into custody on the charge of Property Damage and no bond was allowed.
 
On 10/29/2024 at approximately 1942 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a report of burglary and property damage to a camper located in the 6000 block of Yankee Ridge Road.
 
On 10-31-2024 at approximately 2218 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 200 block of N Woods St. Braymer for a domestic disturbance. A female was taken into custody and placed into the Caldwell County Detention Center.
